Manufacturing Best Held Captive to the Whims of Tyrants!

So says Robert M. Kimmitt, former Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Treasury

Every man has his sword on his thigh because of fear in the night.
Song of Solomon

What's this? A former official of the U.S. Treasury devoid of any sense of principle about the treasured sovereignty of a nation whose freedom against tyranny imposed by the whims of non-nationals our forefathers won in a sea of blood, flesh and tears?

Such is treason. We do not "need" foreign capital (which is not the same thing as saying we should never encourage its placement here). What we need is a Hamiltonian National Bank uttering credit approved by Congress for building state-of-the-art infrastructure worthy of the 21st century. A robust manufacturing base rapidly would come of it, and what we create for our posterity would soon be leveraged by private enterprise of many diverse sizes and missions.

This stuff is simple. Yet look what we have been getting in leadership positions. Scoundrels. Traitors. Enough.

(The transfer of TARP funds to foreign banks that were part in creating the mess we are in really irks me.)
